Our first ever songwriter camp will be held July 13-16 on the beautiful shores of Torch Lake in Northern Michigan. An inspirational private venue that inspires creativity and connectivity. For three days you will learn and collaborate with other songwriters, producers and industry professionals writing for direct synch placements in TV, film, advertising and trailers.

Sandy Bottoms is a private venue on beautiful Torch Lake, in Bellaire, MI. Known as Michigan's very own Caribbean and for good reason, Torch Lake is a top Michigan summer vacation destination is a not-so-hidden paradise with crystal clear turquoise waters and stunning natural beauty. Torch Lake is located in Bellaire, MI about a 40 minute drive from Traverse City's Cherry Capitol Airport.

This camp is designed for experienced intermediate to advanced songwriters familiar with writing for synch placements. Sandy Bottoms is open to any genre of writing. One of our core values is collaboration and we love musical diversity!

Few places in the World inspire as much as Torch Lake. It's peaceful, refreshing, special and fun. Small group songwriting for synch briefs, one on one feedback and an opportunity to master the original works. We provide four writing/demo rooms, lunch and dinner, local tastings and when the work is done there is the lake! Boat rides, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, Petoskey hunting and evening song circles around the fire with smores. Our mission is to provide inspiration, rest and collaboration to our hard-working songwriter community.
